At Kits for Stitchers, we want you to feel confident and excited about every embroidery kit you purchase. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help with a clear and simple return process.

1. 30-Day Return Window

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

Be unused and unopened
Be in its original packaging
Include all original contents (hoop, threads, fabric, pattern, instructions, etc.)
Be accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt)

If 30 days have passed since delivery, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund or return.

2. How to Start a Return

To initiate a return:

Email us at contact@kitsforstitchers.com
Include:
- Your order number
- Full name used at checkout
- Reason for return
- Clear photos (if item is damaged or incorrect)

⚠️ Please do not send items back without contacting us first. Unauthorized returns may not be processed.

Once approved, we will provide return instructions.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

Opened or used embroidery kits
Kits with broken seals or missing components
Items damaged due to misuse or improper handling
Clearance or final sale items
Gift cards

Because embroidery kits contain consumable materials (threads, pre-printed fabric, patterns), opened products cannot be resold.

4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives:

Damaged
Defective
Missing parts
Incorrect item sent

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Include:

Clear photos of the item
Photos of the packaging
Your order number

After verification, we will offer one of the following at no additional cost:

Replacement shipment
Full refund
Store credit (if preferred)

We are committed to resolving these issues quickly and fairly.

5. Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

You will receive an email confirmation
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method

⏳ Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Important Notes:

Original shipping fees are non-refundable (unless the return is due to our error).
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to damage, defect, or incorrect item sent.

6. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges.

If you would like a different embroidery kit:

Return the eligible item.
Place a new order separately.

This ensures faster processing and product availability.

7. Order Cancellation Policy

Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase, provided they have not yet been processed or shipped.

To request cancellation, email us immediately at contact@kitsforstitchers.com with your order number.

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled and must follow the standard return process.

8. Incorrect Shipping Address

Please carefully review your shipping address at checkout.

We are not responsible for:

Orders shipped to incorrectly provided addresses
Packages lost due to address errors entered by the customer

If you notice an error, contact us immediately. Address changes are only possible before shipment.

9. Lost or Delayed Packages

If your tracking information shows no movement for an extended period:

Contact the shipping carrier first
Then contact us at contact@kitsforstitchers.com

While we are not responsible for carrier delays or customs processing, we will assist you in locating your package whenever possible.

10. International Returns

Customers outside the United States are responsible for:

Return shipping fees
Any customs or import charges associated with returning the item

We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned packages without tracking.

11. Policy Updates

Kits for Stitchers reserves the right to update or modify this Returns & Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. The policy in effect at the time of purchase will apply to your order.
