Basic Stitches to Learn
🧵 Back Stitch

How to do it: Bring the needle up through the fabric, make a small stitch forward, then bring the needle up again a short distance ahead and stitch backward to meet the previous stitch.
🌸 Satin Stitch
A filling stitch made with straight stitches placed closely together to completely cover an area of fabric. It's commonly used for petals, leaves, hearts, and other solid shapes.
How to do it: Bring the needle up on one side of the shape and down on the opposite side, repeating until the entire area is filled with smooth, even stitches.

A decorative stitch that creates tiny raised dots and adds beautiful texture to your embroidery. French knots are often used for flower centers, berries, eyes, and small accents.
How to do it: Bring the needle up through the fabric, wrap the thread around the needle one or two times, then insert the needle back into the fabric close to where it emerged while gently holding the thread taut.
